Clay Shooting/Shotgun Shooting – The Ranches have a world-class sporting clays course where you can literally get your guns blazing (even if you’ve never shot a gun before – we’ll have expert instructors on-hand, so no biggie)
Horseback Riding – Why not hop in the saddle to take in Montana’s rugged hills + rustic canyons like a real cowgirl (boots NOT optional)?
Scenic ATV Rides – Um, could there be a better way to scope out Montana’s wildlife, including elk, deer, and antelope (!!) than while riding around on a four-wheeler? Methinks not.

What if I don’t want to do all the activities? Is that ok?
Absolutely…just like Wildheart…this retreat is tailored to your needs. If there is something you don’t want to do, you certainly do not have to. Pick and choose the ones that seem fun and leave the rest. Although I would encourage you step out of your comfort zone and try new things.
What if I’m scared/don’t want to shoot a gun?
That is totally OK. None of the activities are required. But do know that each activity we will be doing, there will be (very likely cute) ranch hands to teach us how to do everything.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Due to very limited space and planning purposes, once you opt in, payment is non-refundable. However, if something comes up for you, you will be able to transfer your ticket to someone else of your choosing ( must be 18 years or older).
Will there be any surprise fees I’m not aware of?
Nope! Everything is all inclusive. However, I will say that tipping the ranch-hands is super nice, so if you want to bring a little extra cash, that would be all good by me!
Also…other than some wine with dinner on Monday, alcohol is not included.
Is airfare included in the price?
Airfare is not included in the price. But if you book early there are some really great prices on flights!
What is the age range of people that are coming? I don’t want to feel too young/too old.
This retreat is for ANYONE who wants to be around like-minded people, while doing really fun activities and feeding both your wild side and your spiritual side. Wildhearts are ALL different ages. We are not age exclusive. I can’t say for sure who will be at the retreat until registration closes, but I know that within the private Wildheart community ages range from 22-65. You will be in great company no matter how old you are.
Will I be able to get work done while I’m there?
The ranch is equipped with full WIFI, so yes, if you choose to do some work that is available to you. However, I’d strongly encourage you to unplug for a bit and really immerse yourself in the experience.
What’s the deal with travel? What airport do I fly into etc?
You will be flying into Great Falls, MT airport. We will have shuttles that will take you to and from the airport. All you need to do is fly in on Sunday the 31st (check in at the ranch is at 4pm but if you need an earlier flight that’s cool, we’ll work it out) and fly out on Wednesday September 3rd (check out is at 11am but lunch will be provided at noon).
Also…road trips are super fun! If you don’t want to fly, perhaps you can grab a Wildheart or two and head on out to Montana. Make a fun experience out of the traveling!
Can I bring my dog?
I LOVE four legged friends, but no. The ranch does not allow pets in the cabins (and that includes boyfriends/husbands!) :)
What if I’m an introvert…will I feel weird at the retreat?
No worries. I’m an introvert too. There will be lots of planned activities but also time for you to do your own thing and recharge if you need to. Also, you get to make this experience whatever you want. If you’d rather go for a solo walk while everyone else is hanging out, that’s totally cool. I respect whatever everyone needs to do to make this experience amazing.
How do the payments work?
Basically you’re free to either pay the ticket all up front or you can pay it in installments. All payments must be completed before the retreat. If you decide to pay in installments and discontinue your payments or don’t pay them for whatever reason, the “deposited” amount you’ve already paid for will not be refunded.
How will I know if I’ll have a good time?
Well…technically no one can predict the future. :) However, if you feel that little itch inside you, or that voice telling you you need to be there, I would listen to it. That voice has never steered me wrong.
I can also say that this experience is amazing. I was a participant at a retreat at this exact ranch and it changed my life. Challenged me to get out of my comfort zone by meeting new people (I didn’t know ANYONE when I went), trying new activities, and making the experience my own.
I came away with new friends, a new outlook on life, and it was the impetus for me moving to Montana. If you’re open for new experiences, I am pretty certain that something will shift for you while you’re there.
I’m not super into yoga…do I have to do it?
Nope! You are not required to do any activity you don’t want to do. But Jess, our Wildhearted Yogini teaches yoga unlike anyone I’ve ever met. It’s a whole mind/body experience. I personally never resonated with yoga and all the “namaste-ing” until I met her.
She is definitely NOT your run of the mill yoga instructor. She’s a healer and a rad chick and you will likely be giggling for much of the class.
