Press play to watch the video! And don’t worry if it’s a little choppy. It’s not you, it’s me. :)

When I was first starting out in business, I didn’t have the first clue as to what I was doing. I knew I wanted to be a LIfe Coach, but I completely forgot that what that meant was that I was also to be a “business owner.” And with that, comes ALLLLLL kinds of tasks that you don’t think of ahead of time, like marketing, accounting, and client management.

Luckily, along the way I got hooked into an amazing group of women who were also building their businesses, so we helped each other along the way. This was over three years ago, and in this time, we’ve watched each other grow and soar.

One of these people I met back in the day was Amanda Aitken. When I met her, she was freelancing some copywriting gigs, and she had a boutique web design company.

Three years later, she has a BOOMING empire where she gets to empower and inspire women to change the world via her Girls Guide courses. Right now…she has Girls Guide To Web Design and Girls Guide to Graphic Design.

Her whole mission is to empower women to be able to create the creative visions that are in their heads. In three short years she’s been able to create a six-figure business, left the corporate world behind, and have absolute freedom in her career and life (last year she traveled the world while building her empire…how #wildheart is that?!)

In this interview, Amanda discusses what made her decide to go the entrepreneurial route, how she knows which ideas to act on, how nervous she was launching The Girl’s Guide to Web Design, and her secrets to success.

You will not want to miss it. There is so much wisdom in this video that I literally took mental notes the entire time.

And now I want to hear from YOU!

A key thing that stands out for me in this interview is Amanda’s focus on taking small steps to get closer to her goal, and how the things you love but think are weird are actually awesome gifts to share with the world!

So in the comments below, I’d love to hear what YOUR weird gifts are. :)

What are those things that you’ve always had, but never quite felt ready to share. Leave a comment below with your weirdest quirks!

I’ll go first. I’m ridiculously good at tap dancing. Now you go!
