Let Your Wildheart Run Free

Do you remember a world without life coaches? I do, and it was not that rad.

Sure, when the life coaching profession first emerged, people poked fun.

“What kind of loser needs a life coach?” some said.

As if living your life (this enormous 24/7 job that comes with no instruction manual) should be so easy you should never need help at any point along the way.

(Or if you do, you’re a candidate for the loony bin.)

As if people’s problems were something to be endured, and ‘grin and bear it’ alone was somehow a noble approach to this magnificent life we’ve been given.

Fast forward to today, where so many of us recognize how important it is to have support, mentoring, and the extra energy that amps up our lives with the right coaching relationship.

I’m super lucky, because I went to coaching school. Which means that most of my friends are coaches.

Anytime I need some help or support, I have on speed dial all my coachy homies, who are sitting there with their headsets on ready to froach (friend-coach) my buns whenever I need a little pick me up.

Need biz help? Call Ellen Ercolini. Need love help? Call Natalie Vartanian. Need spiritual guidance? Call Lion Goodman. Need acknowledgement and a cheerleader? Call David Evans.

The reason it is extra awesome to have this kind of support at my finger-tips is because I don’t know about you, but for me, I don’t always need the support on a scheduled day or time.

Having a one-on-one coaching relationship (which I DO advocate for lots of other reasons like accountability and reaching goals) doesn’t necessarily cover my ass whenever I need it.

I’m a very in-the-moment-I-need-it-right-this-second kind of person when it comes to support and help.

Most of time I got it handled, but in the moments I need help, it’s like a lightning bolt.

And when that happens is not always when I have a call scheduled with my coach.

Plus one-on-one coaching can get a little pricey. And again, I don’t know about you, but I haven’t always had a ton of cash to fork out when I most needed the help.

I’ve been coaching now (and getting coached) for four solid years. I love coaching and think it’s absolutely life changing, but the more that time goes on, the more I realized that there is something majorly missing in the coaching world.

Dare I say that the coaching model is broken?

I do dare. Because I’m a rebel like that.

It’s broken.

What I see happening is a lot of amazing (and crappy too) coaches charging top dollar for their services.

Part of me understands this. I mean how much is changing your entire life for the better worth to you?

But part of me has never felt good about this.

Mostly because it seems that the only people who can get help are the people who have the cash for it.

And yet a lot of times, the people who could really use the help and support can’t afford it (like when you’re building a business, figuring out what you want to do with your life, going through a divorce, or changing jobs).

And even if you can afford it, you might not always want a crazy structured, once a week, ongoing thing.

Maybe you just want to be able to ask questions when you have them.

Or run an idea by others who understand you.

Or share something exciting that’s happening for you with people who love and support you.

Maybe you want to learn new tools and tricks on your own schedule, in the comfort of your own home—and then be able to ask questions on how to actually apply this in your life whenever you want.

Maybe you want coaching when you need it, but not when you don’t.

And maybe you just want to feel seen, acknowledged and be a part of something different, with other people who see things differently too.

And this is why I’ve created the Wildheart Revolution.

As a fearless fix to the coaching model.

As an in-the-moment, whenever-you-want-and-need-it support, community, coaching, learning, loving, magical place.

And to be honest, what I’m offering is my heart.

Straight from me to you.

I can’t wait to see you in the Wildheart Revolution.

And let me know– do you have experience (good or bad) in the coaching world?

What would you want to be different?

As always, I love hearing from you so make sure you leave a comment below.

Your Wildheart Life is waiting…
