Farewell California. Hello Gratitude.
I’m still reeling from all the wonderful birthday messages last week. Thank you so much! Today, as you read this, I am driving to Montana with my best friend. She’s keeping me company on the 21 hour drive and providing comic relief for when my emotions get the better of me. I love California, but I’m so excited to be in Montana. I’m sure there will be plenty of pics and posts about it.
As for now…it’s Friday! The day where we all get to come together and say all the things we are grateful for. I know it’s not always easy, especially when things aren’t seeming to be going that well. But when all else fails, and especially when you don’t want to, try gratitude.
TGIF…Try Gratitude, It’s Friday. I’ll go and then you go.
I’m grateful for:
My family and all their wonderful love and support and help for this move. Gary. Berry bubbly water. All of those who sent birthday wishes…I received them all and it meant the world to me. Comfy beds. Gels manicure (ladies…you with me or what?!) My clients. You. A roof over my head. Enough to eat. Loving people. My co-pilot for my drive. Free information on the internet that makes my life better. Girls Rock Camp. People that want to make a difference.
Now you go. Leave a comment below with all the things you are grateful for today! And while you’re doing that, enjoy this photo…it’s my new neighborhood!
Also…there will be lots of fun changes on this site starting next week. Lots of new posts and fun things to see every single day, so if you’re not already, make sure you’re on my mailing list so I can let you know when cool new stuff happens around here.
Xo,
Sally
Woo hoo! Drive safely to your new home! Can’t wait to hear about it – I’ve never been to Montana.
I am grateful that my little neighborhood in NY escaped unscathed from Hurricane Sandy and that all my friends and family, though many were affected, came out unharmed.

Well it has allready turned to monday, but I reply to this anyway since gratitude goes any day of the week! :-) It’s turning to winter and I am greatful that I live far away from the citylights so I can go out at night and look up and see millions of stars, the entire Milky way and now and then the sparkling amazing northen light sparkling on a freezing cold night. All this reminds me so much of my place in life and it makes me humble before the greatness of nature! I sure hope you take some time to get out on a real dark night just to watch the stars!! Keep smiling :-)
