TGIF…{Try Gratitude, It’s Friday} Girlfriends. And Tap Shoes
Well friends…I’m writing to you from my brand new apartment, right in the center of town in Bozeman, Montana. Cars pass by outside my window as a horn section plays across the street. If it were closer to Christmas, I’d swear those songs were carols. I experienced my first snow, and wore my (brand new) winter coat for the first time. It’s cozy in here. And I’m grateful for all of it. Which is great because it’s Gratitude Friday.
The best way to get what you want in life, is to be grateful for the things you already have in life. Which is why I like to dedicate an entire day of the week to being grateful. I’ll list all the things I am grateful for right now, then you go! Leave a comment below with your list.
I’m grateful for:
My new apartment and boiler heating. Being able to walk to everything I need and want. My best friend who took time away from her family and work to move me to Montana and get me set up and to pull me out of my “i just moved and am freaking out a little” funk. Cool and surprising local businesses. Tea. Health. Music. New friends. Being connected to old friends. Belated birthday dinners. Twinkly Christmas lights. That first snowflake. My family. You guys. My clients. Crisp air. The courage to move to Montana. Having more space than I know what to do with. Meeting cool new people. Abundance. Phone catch-ups with good girlfriends. Earrings.
Now you go! Leave a comment below with the things you are grateful for. And in the meantime…enjoy these pics from my week.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Make sure you stop in on Monday where a whole new week’s worth of posts will continue. And if you like what you see, make sure you sign up for my free newsletter so I can tell you when new stuff happens around here. Sending you a warm squeeze, from MT.
Xo,
Sally
I’m (very very) grateful for :
second-hand winter baby clothes that I just found in my wardrobe (I had forgotten I had them) ** the sounds my cat makes when she’s happy (and she’s happy right now) ** the 3 musclemen who are now working in our future house and making it cosy for when we move in in three weeks ** the fabulous massage I got this afternoon ** Music ** organic broccoli ** and your site Sally :-)
FUTURE HOUSE?!?!?! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! So excited for you. I wanna see pics. :)
Congrats on the coconut, girl! I’m grateful had just enough money to make it to North Dakota. I got to spend time with you on the way. You told me about a new TV show & made me a yummy dinner. I’m thankful I’m staying in great hotel with a jacuzzi tub til my apt is ready. People here are nice. I’m gonna take myself out tonight and get a burger! Love you, lady. Keep on rockin’ in the free world — xo
Thank you lady. It was a huge feat!! I’m so glad we got to spend time together too. That is THE COOLEST thing about traveling so much is that you know people all over the place. What a lovely surprise to have you be all like “I’ll be in Bozeman tomorrow!!” So excited for your new chapter.
