{TGIF} Try Gratitude…It’s Friday!

It’s so easy to be in our heads and think about how much things ARE NOT going the way we want, or focusing on things we DON’T have. So…I’ve decided, that at least once a week, on Fridays, we should all take a minute to focus on things that ARE going well. Things we’re grateful for. I’ll be putting together a list of things that I love. That I’m grateful for. Or happy about. All from this week. I’ll go, then YOU go. Leave a comment on the blog with some of the things you’re grateful for RIGHT NOW.

When al ele fails…and especially when you don’t want to…Try gratitude.

Here goes…

I’m grateful for:

PG Tips tea in the morning. All the girls that just completed our Love Tele Series. Water. A nice matress and soft bedding. Handwritten cards. Getting packages in the mail. My best friend. Afternoon bloody mary’s on outdoor patios. Conversations that I never want to end. Serendipity. Sparks. Intuition. My amazing community. All my blog readers. New boots. Dancing. Honesty. Vulnerability. Coaching. CTI. Daydreaming. Acknowledgement. Doing or saying something that changes something for someone. All my mentors. Lion. Partnership. Marie Forleo. Downtime. Creativity. Crafty projects. A flawless manicure. My health.

Ok…now YOU go!

Here are some pics and a video from my week. Hope you had a great one. Don’t forget to leave a comment with some things YOU are grateful for.

A Girl And Her Coach. thanks.

Yeah today is a hard day to be thankful except for: my two wonderful grown-up most of the time kids, the ability albeit not without pain to go through another day; for little amounts in the bank and enough to keep going; for the promise and hope of not a pay day someday, but life; the ability to look beyond circumstances and grow; the ability to get up in the morning, put my pants on, and do it, whatever it is for that day; it with tears I write this but maybe I need to be thankful for those too.

You know…gratitude ESPECIALLY when you don’t want to and ESPECIALLY when it’s hard usually has the most impact. Being able to see wonderful things, even among the mud is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Holding lots of huggy and lovey space for you.

Hi Sally – what an abundant day for you!

Today I’m grateful for the mud tracked through my house from happy children, the smell of flowering roses, renewing my commitment to my vision, letting go of misaligned relationships, new friendships & soul connections, neighbors who missed us, family who love us just the same, my new swanky couch, fringe, stretching, growing, being scared but courageous, a healed belly after bad fish, green juices, sunshine, crickets..Summer!

    • Sallyhope says:

Miss Monica…thank you, again, so much for sharing. Your list reads like a really great lifestyle blog. Sounds like a renewal is happening in your life. Lots of changes. Lots of clearing. Lots of growth. Have a sunny day. See you next Friday. :)

My incredibly creative and talented daughters who aren’t afraid to take risks and live full, dramatic, edgy, fun, experimental, full-throttle lives; our trip to Croatia and the deep, heart-felt, warm, loving reception we received and the ongoing relationships we now have; sending off packages and thank yous to the above mentioned Croatian family and friends; my great house; Gary who is understanding even when he doesn’t understand; good friends; Huntington Lake; health; life coaches; my awesome, funny, loving, with-it, crack up of a mother and getting to spend so much time with her; food; and so much more….

    Thank you for the reminder!

I’m grateful this day for the hot shit women I’m meeting with the business renovation/re-invention I’m working on. So grateful not to be on this walk alone as I was the last time I started a biz from a spark. Consider yourself on that list, m’am. See you next month!

    • Sallyhope says:

” for the hot shit women I’m meeting with the business renovation/re-invention I’m working on” AMEN!!!!
